Panorama International Arts Festival Extended Until 14th September 2024

In response to the immense global interest and enthusiasm generated by the Panorama International Arts Festival 2024, the festival’s organizing committee has announced an extension of the event until September 14th, 2024. The festival, which commenced on August 1st, will now run for a total of 50 days, making it one of the longest and most significant cultural events of the year.

In a statement, Prof. Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, the Chairman of Panorama International Arts Festival, expressed his excitement about the extension. “The overwhelming response we have received from artists, art enthusiasts, and the global community is truly heartening,” said Prof. Nambiar. “This extension not only allows us to accommodate the growing number of participants but also provides a larger platform for the diverse voices and creative expressions that define this festival. We are committed to making Panorama 2024 a landmark event in the world of arts, one that transcends boundaries and fosters a deeper understanding of our shared humanity.”

Prof. Nambiar further emphasized the significance of the festival’s theme, “Fire,” as a symbol of passion, transformation, and the enduring power of art to ignite change. “By extending the festival, we aim to continue this dialogue, offering more opportunities for artists to showcase their work and for audiences to engage with the art in a meaningful way.”

Prof. Irene Doura Kavadia, the Chief Coordinator of the festival, echoed Prof. Nambiar’s sentiments, highlighting the collaborative spirit that has made the festival a success. “The extension of Panorama International Arts Festival is a testament to the collective effort and dedication of our global community,” said Prof. Kavadia. “We have witnessed an extraordinary outpouring of creativity and cultural exchange, and this extension will enable us to continue nurturing these connections. Prof. Kavadia also emphasized the importance of the festival’s hybrid mode, which allows for broader participation from artists and audiences across the globe. “The hybrid format has been instrumental in making Panorama 2024 truly global. With this extension, we are excited to welcome even more participants, both virtually and in person, ensuring that the festival remains inclusive and accessible to all.”

The Panorama International Arts Festival, organized by Writers Capital International Foundation, is dedicated to spreading humanitarian values through the arts. With the theme “Fire,” this year’s festival explores the transformative power of art in society, offering a platform for artists from all over the world to share their unique perspectives and creative works. Submission Guidelines

To ensure your artwork is considered for PIAF 2024, please adhere to the following guidelines:

1. Online Registration:

2. Artwork Submission:

Images: JPEG or PNG, minimum resolution 300 dpi.
Videos: MP4, maximum duration 10 minutes.
Audio Files: MP3 or WAV.
Documents: PDF or DOCX for written descriptions and supporting documents.

Send high-resolution images or videos of your work to wcifcentral@gmail.com along with a brief description (300-500 words) explaining the concept, medium, and how it relates to the theme.

3. Submission Fee:

A nominal submission fee is required to cover administrative costs. Detailed information about the fee is available on the registration page.

4. Deadline:

Ensure all submissions are received by July 30, 2024.

Evaluation Process

1. Initial Review:

Submissions will undergo an initial review for adherence to guidelines and theme relevance.

2. Jury Evaluation:

Selected works will be evaluated by our esteemed international jury, chaired by Nuccio Mula. The criteria include originality, creativity, technical skill, and thematic relevance.

3. Notification:

Artists will be notified of the results via email by September 15, 2024.

Festival Mode

PIAF 2024 will be held in a hybrid mode, meaning the festival will have both virtual and physical components. There will be physical events in selected countries, and selected works will also be displayed during the Global Vision Summit, planned as a culmination of PIAF and PILF.

At the end of the festival, we will be declaring the Panorama International Arts Awards 2024, which include:

Global Vision Summit 2024: A Beacon of Unity and Cultural Exchange Concludes in Athens

Athens, Greece – The Global Vision Summit 2024, hosted by the Writers Capital International Foundation, concluded on July 2, 2024, marking a significant milestone in promoting cultural exchange and unity. The event brought together intellectuals, litterateurs, artists, doctors, and entrepreneurs from around the world to the historic city of Athens.

The summit commenced with a message by Prof. Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, Founder & CEO of the Writers Capital International Foundation. Prof. Nambiar reflected on the foundation’s decade-long journey, emphasizing the importance of fostering humanity’s finest values. Prof. Irene Doura-Kavadia, Vice President of the Global Vision Summit 2024, extended a warm welcome to delegates from countries including the USA, Australia, India, Canada, Germany, France, Algeria, UAE, Italy, Malta, Cyprus, Iran, Bangladesh, Peru, South Africa, and Ecuador.

Day one featured a series of engaging speeches from distinguished panelists and members of the Organising Committee and Advisory Board, including Despena Dalmaris, Voula Memou, Nouli Tsagaraki, Olga Acheimastou, and Elias Tsonis. The opening ceremony also included a solo violin performance by Ioannis Nikolis and a mini concert led by Maestro Takis Nikolis.

The Excellence Awards 2024 and Global Icon Awards were presented by notable dignitaries such as Ambassador Emeritus Constantin Cakioussis and Ambassador Duncan of Australia, recognizing the outstanding contributions of individuals across various fields.

Day two continued with the presentation of awards and the recognition of inspirational women for 2024. The event also honored children who participated in the “Embers of Change” project at the Panorama Festival 2024. Former Minister Tzoumakas, Yiannis Kaltsas, President of the Aetoloarcanian Association, and Dr. Steven Vogazianos Roy, President of the World Philosophical Forum Annex Greece, addressed the summit.

Several notable books, including “Whispers of the Soul” by renowned Italian artist and poet Silla Maria Campanini, “The Art of Haiku & Tanka,” an anthology of 100 English haikus by celebrated poet and cultural advocate Mou Modhubontee, and “Phoenix Rhapsody,” a captivating collection of poems were released during the event. Other releases included “Journey to Infinity” by Ntikbasamis, “The Language of Peace” by Voula Memou, “Prophecies Untold” by Vasiliki Dragouni, “Steps of Life” by Sardelis, “Oasis’ Recollections” by Retali, and “On My Own” by Nina Ntoura.

The Panorama International Book Awards celebrated the achievements of poets from 87 countries. The summit concluded with a vote of thanks by Vasiliki Dragouni and a farewell address by Prof. Irene Doura-Kavadia who stressed upon the need for such global gatherings to promote the values of humanity. The event that affirmed the power of cultural exchange and the unifying force of literature and the arts also highlighted global solidarity and inspired continued efforts toward a brighter future for humanity.

The Summit aimed to create a platform where diverse cultures and nations could come together to share their insights, celebrate their achievements, and work towards a common goal of promoting humanitarian values and cultural understanding. Over the course of two days, the event featured a series of speeches, performances, award ceremonies, and book launches, highlighting the remarkable contributions of individuals and groups dedicated to making a positive impact on society.

Day 1: A New Era of Solidarity and Unity

The Writers Capital International Foundation welcomed a diverse assembly of intellectuals, litterateurs, artists, doctors, entrepreneurs, and representatives from various cognitive domains to the Global Vision Summit 2024. The event began with a heartwarming address by Prof. Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, President Founder & CEO of the Writers Capital International Foundation and President of the Summit. His inspirational speech recounted the inception of the Foundation a decade ago, born out of a deep-seated desire to foster a world where humanity’s finest values could flourish.

Vice President of the Global Vision Summit 2024 and Secretary-General of the Writers Capital International Foundation, Prof. Irene Doura-Kavadia, extended her warmest greetings to all delegates and esteemed guests from across the globe, including representatives from the USA, Australia, India, Canada, Germany, France, Algeria, UAE, Italy, Malta, Cyprus, Iran, Bangladesh, Peru, South Africa, and Ecuador. The Summit marked a new era of solidarity, brotherhood, and unity, embodying the motto “Bridging Worlds, Uniting Visions,” and embarked on a journey to foster understanding and cooperation among diverse cultures and nations.

The panel comprised esteemed litterateurs and intellectuals, including members of the Organising Committee and the Advisory Board of the WCIF: Despena Dalmaris, Voula Memou, Nouli Tsagaraki, Olga Acheimastou, and Elias Tsonis. The Summit commenced with introductory speeches by the Chief Coordinators of Ceremonies, Ms. Emy Serlis on Day 1 and Mr. Dimitris Primalis on Day 2.

Constantine Zombos, Deputy Governor of Central Athens, represented the Governor of Attica, under whose auspices the Summit was held. Mario Nottas, President of the European Communication Institute (ECI), sent his best wishes through Dr. Angeliki Kompoholi, who represented him. The Summit was supported by the ECI, World Philosophical Forum, Annex Athens, and H2O Olympiade. Guests of honour were bestowed with special medals to honour and welcome them to Athens.

The event featured a solo performance by Ioannis Nikolis on the violin and a mini concert of string instruments led by Maestro Takis Nikolis of the Conservatory of Palaio Faliro. The Global Icon Awards and Excellence Awards 2024 were presented by Ambassador Emeritus Constantin Cakioussis, Ambassador Duncan of Australia, Director of the “House of Cyprus” Mr. Diomedes Nikita, representing the Ambassador of Cyprus Mr. Stavros Avgoustidis, and Ambassador of the International Organisation of Cultural Diplomacy Mr. Andrew Rentzoulas. The Golden Book Awards ceremony recognized outstanding literary contributions. The evening concluded with a vote of thanks by Olga Acheimastou.

Day 2: Celebrating Excellence and Inspiring Change

The day began with a welcome speech by Prof. Irene Doura-Kavadia, followed by the continuation of the Excellence Awards and the award ceremony for children who participated in the “Embers of Change” project at the Panorama Festival 2024 titled “Agni – the Element of Fire.” The Academy Language and Translation Centres presented Certificates of Language Acquisition (Levels B2 up to C2) to their candidates.

Inspirational women were honoured with the International Women’s Awards for 2024. Distinguished guests, including former Minister Tzoumakas, Yiannis Kaltsas, President of the Aetoloarcanian Association globally, and Dr. Steven Vogazianos Roy, President of the World Philosophical Forum Annex Greece, addressed the Summit after receiving their guest of honour medals.

Mr. Nikos Alexiou, President of Litterateurs in the USA, launched the anthology “Poetry – the Language Beyond Borders,” describing it as a passport to life.

Several notable works were launched, including “The Art of Haiku & Tanka” by Mou Modhubantee, “Whispers of the Soul” by Silla Maria Campanini, “Journey to Infinity” by Ntikbasamis, “The Language of Peace” by Voula Memou, “Prophecies Untold” by Vasiliki Dragouni, “Steps of Life” by Sardelis, “Oasis’ Recollections” by Retali, and “On My Own” by Nina Ntoura.

The Panorama International Book Awards celebrated the winners among poets from 87 countries. The day concluded with a series of speeches, including Agathi Revythi on the legacy of Greek literature and its modern challenges, Katerina Bourdoukou on “Deus Ex Machina: The Theatre and Its Role as a Mechanism for Personal Evolution,” and Jeffrey Levett, International Gusi Peace Laureate, who recited his verses. The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Vasiliki Dragouni and a farewell address by Prof. Irene Doura-Kavadia, marking the end of a truly memorable and impactful Global Vision Summit 2024.

Women’s Day Celebrations 2022: WCF honours women for their contributions to humanity

Athens (Greece): Twenty women from as many as 6 continents were honoured during the International Women’s Day celebrations conducted by Writers Capital Foundation. Eminent writers from around the world participated in the event which was held virtually on Sunday, March 13.

Awards were presented to women in 6 Continents of the globe (Europe, Asia, North America, Latin America, Africa, Australia) with a view to honouring women from various walks of life for their exceptional personalities and deeds in the fields of literature, music, art, the cinema and the theatre; also to women dedicated to science, medicine, voluntarism, to promoting culture and cultural diversity, yet most of all to promoting perennial values such as love, peace, solidarity, and equality.

Zoi Geroulanou, Maresa Berlini, Ester Abreu Vieira de Oliveira, Marinella Linardos, Punya Devi, Joanna Svensson, Jyothirmaya Thakur, Neela Bhagwat, Parvathy Ramachandran, Laksmirsree Banerjee, Sarojadevi Komatla, Despena Dalmaris, Voula Memou, Olga Acheimastou, Rouliana Zotou, Angelina Neves, Ana Ulehla, Maria Muguras Vnuck, Meenakshi Mohan and Ramina Herrera were among the awardees.

Speaking during the occasion, Elena Karabi and Pantelis Hatzis, authors of the recently published children’s book for distributing among children who are fighting with various physical anomalies in hospitals in Greece, said that women’s contribution to society is vital in the healthy existence of the world. Congratulating the awardees, they also thanked Writers International Edition Greece for bringing out the books that are being distributed free among the less fortunate children in Greece.

In the virtual poets’ meet conducted as part of the celebrations, writers from various countries presented their works. In the event presided over by WCF Secretary-General Prof. Irene Doura Kavadia, Executive Board Member and Chief Human Resource Officer Johanna Devadayavou welcomed the guest and Prof. Athanasios Nassiopoulos delivered the Vote of thanks. Executive Board Member Elisa Mascia felicitated the awardees.
