Letizia Caiazzo is a multimedia visual artist whose profound passion for art has driven her career as an educator and creator. After completing her studies at the “Santa Dorotea” Institute in Naples, she earned an Academic Diploma in Social Assistance from the Faculty of Humanities and Philosophy at the University of Naples “Federico II.” Throughout her life, Letizia has dedicated herself to teaching art, sharing her love and knowledge with countless generations of young minds.
Her commitment to artistic expression has led her to explore a wide array of techniques, resulting in a unique and varied portfolio. This dedication to the arts has allowed her to participate in prestigious exhibitions, as well as organize numerous events and shows aimed at promoting both art and literature. Letizia has exhibited her work in both personal and collective exhibitions in notable public spaces across Italy and abroad. Among the distinguished venues that have showcased her art are the Sale del Bramante in Rome, the Museo Stadio Domiziano in Rome, the Castello del Valentino in Turin, and Castel dell’Ovo in Naples. Her international reach extends to galleries and museums in countries such as France, Croatia, Belgium, Germany, and Hungary, reflecting her status as a significant figure in the global art scene.
In addition to her accomplishments as a visual artist, Letizia is also an accomplished poet and writer. She has garnered attention from various art critics and historians, including Rosario Pinto, Carlo Roberto Sciascia, and Vinicio Coppola, who have recognized her contributions to both the visual and literary arts.
Letizia’s dedication and talent have not gone unnoticed; she has been honored with numerous accolades throughout her career. She was named an honorary member of the International Academy of Empedocles, receiving an honorary degree from the International Academy of the Dioscuri in Taranto. Among her prestigious awards, she received the International “Alexsander” Award in 2017 from the International University of Peace, under the patronage of the Universum Academy Switzerland. In 2021, she was awarded the ACAMANTE E FILLIDE Prize from the Academy of Fine Arts “Michelangelo” in Agrigento, and in 2022, she received the Grand Prize “Excellences of Italian Art” from the International Academy of the Dioscuri.
Most recently, in 2024, Letizia was honored as a delegate for Italy and a guest of honor at the Panorama International Literature Festival organized by the Writers Capital Foundation. She received a Certificate of Excellence for her outstanding participation in the 2023 Biennale of Agiography and Innography, and was appointed as an Executive Member of the Writers Capital Foundation. Additionally, she won the prestigious Panorama Golden Book Awards 2024 for her book Sul Filo di un Feeling, awarded by Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar and Irene Doura-Kavadia.
