Residing on the serene island of Salamis, Cassandra works as a shipyard clerk in Perama, where she draws inspiration from her surroundings and daily life.
Cassandra’s educational background is as impressive as her artistic endeavors. She holds two degrees: one in Informatics and Telecommunications from the esteemed Kapodistrian University of Athens, obtained in 2009, and another in International and European Studies from Piraeus University, completed in 2023. This diverse academic foundation allows her to navigate multiple disciplines, enriching her artistry with a unique perspective.
A passionate contributor to the literary world, Cassandra has participated in 45 anthologies, showcasing her poetry and prose across a wide array of themes and styles. Her dedication to her craft has led her to represent Greece at the prestigious BJCEM festival, a platform that brings together 27 countries and 700 artists to celebrate the seven arts. The festival, held in Skopje, FYROM, provided her with a significant opportunity to share her work with a broader audience and engage with fellow artists from around the globe.
Cassandra’s talent has not gone unnoticed. She was awarded a two-year scholarship from the Institution of ‘Takis Sinopoulos’ (2007-2009), a testament to her promising potential in the literary field. Additionally, she received a Cimo scholarship from Finland in 2009, allowing her to expand her horizons and immerse herself in new cultural experiences. In 2005, Cassandra was also honored with a residential scholarship for young talents at the Literature House of Paros, which is known as the European Center of Literary Translation.
