K. Mohana Subrahmani, known as KMS among the artists of Kerala, is a celebrated painter whose works resonate with the vibrant cultural tapestry of his home state. Initially, he enrolled in the Calicut Medical College to pursue a Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT). However, his passion for art ultimately led him to seek formal training in painting. He honed his skills at Universal Art and the Hyderabad Fine Arts College, later earning a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) from the University of Mysore.
