Words Unleashed: Renowned Authors and Poets Steal the Spotlight at Cultural Center in Athens

The Cultural Center of 26 Hxous Str, Paleo Faliro, was filled with literary enthusiasts on Monday evening as Writers International Edition hosted a special book presentation. The event showcased the works of esteemed authors and poets, offering attendees a unique opportunity to delve into their creative worlds.

The evening kicked off at 7:00 p.m., with a vibrant atmosphere buzzing with anticipation. The participating authors and their books were introduced in alphabetical order, providing a diverse range of literary offerings. Maria Anthi presented her thought-provoking collection titled “SELFIES” – Self-portraits, which combines poetry and essays in English. Konstantina Kontomari captivated the audience with her book “LITTLE HEROES, GREAT LEADERS,” a financial counseling guide tailored for young people in English. Vassilis Pasipoularidis shared his captivating poetry collection, “CONIUM,” while Christos Sanos presented his poetic dilogy, “THOUGHTS & WORDS,” comprising two books: “Memories” and “There are Some Moments.”

The coordination of this prestigious event was skillfully managed by Irene Doura-Kavadia, a renowned Comparative & Computational Linguist, Writer, SG of Writers Capital Foundation, and CEO of Academy Language & Translation Centres. Her expertise ensured a seamless and memorable experience for both the participants and the audience.


The event was further elevated by the presence of distinguished guests from various fields of knowledge who offered their unique perspectives on the featured works. Maria Zaga, a Psychologist-Psychotherapist and Municipal Councilor of Palaio Faliro, shared her insights as the President of the Municipal Committee for Gender Equality in P. Faliro. Synthetic Psychotherapist-Supervisor Marina Zaga brought her expertise to the table, while Author and Poet Dimitrios Karousis offered his literary acumen. Accredited Life-mindset & parent coach/Mentor/Lawyer Nana Sygguna enriched the panel discussion with her valuable contributions.
