Elena Magiati-Karabi is a writer and artist with a compelling life story that includes being a kidney transplant recipient for 31 years. She received a kidney from her mother, a source of inspiration for her active involvement in organ donation advocacy. From an early age, Elena exhibited a passion for both painting and writing, and she has successfully pursued both as integral aspects of her creative expression. In addition to her literary accomplishments, she engages in painting as an amateur, a pursuit inspired by her grandmother, who was a painter.
