Ioanna Ioannidi, a native of Argos, Greece, currently resides in the scenic town of Aria, Nafplio. A woman of diverse talents and passions, she has made significant contributions to both the fields of education and the arts. Ioanna holds a degree from the Faculty of Agriculture in the Department of Plant Production, demonstrating her commitment to environmental sustainability. However, her professional career took a different path when she became a qualified pedagogue, specializing in kindergarten teaching. Her unique combination of skills in both agriculture and early childhood education reflects her dedication to nurturing growth—whether in plants or young minds. She further expanded her expertise with a diploma in children’s outdoor activities, emphasizing her passion for nature-based education.
Currently, Ioanna is pursuing her love for the arts by studying in the Painting Department at the Institute of Argolida. In addition to painting, she is honing her skills in Hagiography—an ancient form of religious iconography—under the tutelage of renowned artist Mr. Rigas Rigopoulos at the Argos Art Workshop. This focus on sacred art highlights her reverence for tradition and her desire to merge spirituality with creativity.
Her commitment to continuing education is evident in the various seminars and workshops she has attended over the years. Notably, Ioanna participated in the 2022 seminar on the “Sustainable Management of the Natural and Man-made Environment of Refugees in their New Homeland,” showcasing her concern for environmental and social justice. In 2018, she attended a seminar on “Dyslexia and Distraction,” reflecting her commitment to understanding the diverse needs of children in her care.
