Writers Capital Foundation Introduces Global Nexus Series of Conferences to Spark Global Change

Mysuru: The Writers Capital International Foundation has announced the launch of Global Nexus, a transformative series of international conferences designed to bring together educators, thinkers, and visionaries from around the world to drive meaningful change through academia. Founded by Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, a celebrated educationist and humanitarian, this initiative is set to revolutionize the intersection of intellectual discourse and real-world impact.

The Global Nexus series, an ambitious project of the Foundation, aims to unite scholars, educationists, and the general public in a shared mission to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and explore solutions to pressing global issues. While the Writers Capital International Foundation is known for its popular events such as the Panorama International Arts Festival, this new initiative promises to add greater depth to the Foundation’s commitment to humanitarian values, engaging communities worldwide in discussions that inspire real action.

Vision Behind Global Nexus

Global Nexus is not just another academic conference series. It seeks to create a platform for cross-disciplinary conversations that span beyond literature and the arts, delving into diverse fields of study. Through monthly virtual seminars, scholars will have the chance to present their research in concise, five-minute sessions, promoting impactful dialogue on a range of topics.

“Our goal is to spark ideas that lead to transformative actions,” said Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, Founder and CEO of the Writers Capital International Foundation. “We believe that academia must extend its reach, collaborating across disciplines to offer practical solutions for the challenges we face today.”

The series will also feature keynote speeches from globally renowned thought leaders, setting the stage for discussions that challenge the status quo and explore innovative approaches to critical issues.

Engaging the Global Community

Global Nexus is designed for both scholars and the public, encouraging open participation from all who wish to engage with groundbreaking ideas. The conference will serve as a bridge between academic knowledge and real-world application, offering members of the public the opportunity to interact with thought leaders and gain fresh perspectives on topics that shape the world.

A Step Toward Global Impact

Initially held virtually, the Global Nexus series will offer monthly Zoom-based seminars, with plans to expand to in-person events at select universities and colleges worldwide. This evolution into physical venues will provide deeper engagement and foster collaborative problem-solving on a more intimate level.

For educationists, Global Nexus represents a unique opportunity to present research on a global stage, engage with peers across disciplines, and be part of a movement that transcends conventional academic forums. For the general public, it offers a rare chance to connect with thought leaders and contribute to shaping the future through dialogue.

Global Nexus series of conferences on arts, literature and academia

Global Nexus: Igniting Change through Academia

In today’s rapidly evolving world, there is a pressing need for academia to take center stage in driving societal change. Recognizing this necessity, we have envisioned Global Nexus—a transformative series of international conferences aimed at uniting educationists, thinkers, and enthusiasts from around the globe. Hosted by the Writers Capital International Foundation, an organization spread across 87 countries, Global Nexus seeks to be a pioneering platform where the exchange of knowledge leads to meaningful impact on both academic and societal fronts.

At the heart of Global Nexus is the understanding that academia must move beyond traditional boundaries and embrace interdisciplinary collaboration. This initiative is not confined solely to literature and the arts but will extend across various academic subjects, fostering conversations that the world can derive inspiration from. By creating a bridge between intellectual discourse and real-world application, these conferences will play a pivotal role in shaping new paradigms and perspectives.

The Aim of Global Nexus
The goal of Global Nexus is simple yet profound: to inspire change through academia. We believe that when minds come together, powerful solutions emerge. This series of conferences will bring together renowned educationists, scholars, and thought leaders from diverse fields to share their research, insights, and experiences. By facilitating these conversations, we aim to spark ideas that can lead to transformative actions in academia and beyond.

Moreover, we are committed to engaging the global community—both academics and non-academics alike. Through Global Nexus, we seek to not only educate but also empower individuals from all walks of life, providing them with the opportunity to participate in discussions that can shape the future. The conference will feature monthly virtual seminars, each lasting 2-3 hours, delivered through Zoom, with delegates from around the world presenting their research in short, impactful sessions.

A Platform for Thought Leaders and the General Public
Global Nexus will serve two key groups:

  1. Educationists: These scholars will act as the voices of change, presenting their research and leading discussions that challenge the status quo. Each presenter will be given five minutes to share their research, providing concise yet thought-provoking insights into critical issues. Renowned keynote speakers from various academic disciplines will open each session, setting the tone for a series of engaging discussions.
  2. The Global Community: Beyond the academic elite, Global Nexus invites members of the public to actively participate. By attending these seminars, the general public can gain a deeper understanding of key issues across various fields, interact with global thought leaders, and take away actionable ideas to implement in their own communities.

Why You Should Join
For educationists, Global Nexus offers a rare opportunity to present their work on a global stage, connect with fellow scholars, and be part of a movement that transcends conventional academic forums. It is a chance to contribute to a larger cause, impacting not just the academic world, but society as a whole.

For the general public, this is an invitation to be part of an intellectual revolution. By attending Global Nexus, you will be able to interact with some of the brightest minds in academia, gain fresh perspectives on a wide range of topics, and engage in discussions that can shape the future.

Looking Ahead: Expanding to Physical Venues
While Global Nexus will initially be conducted virtually, with monthly sessions hosted on Zoom, our vision extends beyond the digital realm. After a few successful virtual events, we aim to bring the conferences to physical venues across select universities and colleges worldwide. These institutions will have the opportunity to host in-person events, allowing for deeper engagement, face-to-face networking, and collaborative problem-solving.

Leadership Behind Global Nexus
At the helm of this initiative is Preeth Padmanabhan Nambiar, a visionary leader with a rich history in academia, literature, and humanitarian efforts. As the Founder and CEO of the Writers Capital International Foundation, Nambiar has been a driving force behind numerous international projects aimed at fostering a culture of creativity, intellectual growth, and humanitarian values. His extensive experience in education, particularly as the former Head of the Department of English at the University of Cambridge in the Maldives, has provided him with unique insights into the intersection of academia and real-world change.

Supporting this endeavor is Irene Doura Kavadia, the Secretary General of the Writers Capital International Foundation, who brings her vast expertise in international collaboration and leadership. Together, Nambiar and Kavadia lead a global team dedicated to creating platforms that elevate voices from all corners of the world, breaking barriers between academic disciplines, cultures, and communities.

Join Us in Igniting Change
The power of academia lies not only in its ability to generate knowledge but also in its potential to inspire action. Through Global Nexus, we invite you to be part of a global conversation that seeks to challenge the status quo, explore new ideas, and create lasting impact.
