Athens: The Panorama International Arts Festival 2023 concluded on a high note with a captivating Closing Ceremony held on August 31, 2023. This virtual event brought together a global community of artists, writers, and art enthusiasts, showcasing an incredible array of talent and creativity.
The ceremony commenced with a warm welcome by Irene Doura-Kavadia, the Secretary General of the Writers Capital International Foundation. The highlight of the evening was a powerful address by Preeth Nambiar, the Founder & CEO of Writers Capital Foundation and Chairman of Panorama Festivals. His words emphasized the festival’s commitment to bridging cultures and nurturing artistic brilliance worldwide.
The event was graced by esteemed guests, including Joan Josep Barcelo, Chief Advisor and Coordinator from Spain, who shared inspiring insights on behalf of the Foundation. Additionally, the presence of Ms. Antonietta Micali, Director of the Literature Department, and Mr. Franco Spada, Director of the Art and Culture Departments of the Accademia Tiberina, added to the event’s prestige. Both Micali and Spada, members of the Panorama Organising Committee, shared their valuable perspectives, enriching the festival’s cultural tapestry.
A significant moment of the evening was the unveiling of two exceptional literary works. “The Song Divine” by Dr. Srilakshmi Adhyapak, a profound exploration of human themes, was introduced to the audience. This literary masterpiece was launched by Despena Dalmaris, Editor of Writers Edition Online Magazine. The event also celebrated “Cascades” by Ambika Ananth, a captivating literary creation, launched by Smaragdi Mitropoulou, Executive Member of the Writers Capital Foundation.
