Nina Diakovasili, a gifted artist born in Kallithea, Athens, has made significant strides in the art world, establishing herself as both a painter and a revered figure in cultural circles. Her artistic journey began after graduating from “ABC Ecole de Paris” in Athens, where she chose to dedicate herself to painting.
Nina has held seven personal gallery exhibitions and has participated in numerous collective exhibitions, both domestically and internationally. Her artwork has not only graced galleries but has also been featured in the illustrations of three children’s books, showcasing her versatility and creativity.
Throughout her career, Nina has received multiple accolades that highlight her exceptional talent and contributions to the arts. Among her many achievements, she has been elected as the Chairwoman of the Board of the UNESCO TLEE Club, a prestigious position she continues to hold today. Her exhibitions have reached various notable locations, including Bologna, Sesuolo, and Livorno in Italy, as well as London, Paris, and Vienna. Nina’s work has garnered recognition and praise from esteemed organizations. She received an award from the Philological Association “Parnassus” for her work titled “The Last Supper,” a testament to her ability to engage with profound themes through her artistry. Additionally, she was honored for her significant contributions to society and art by the Association of Greek Writers.
Nina has also received honors from the UNESCO Club T.L.E.E., the World Philosophical Forum, and was designated a “Citizen of the World.” Her accolades extend to the EL GRECO Festival of the Municipality of Malevizi in Crete, where she has been honored three times. She has also been recognized twice by the Writers Capital International Foundation, first for her participation in the Hagiography/Iconography International Competition and Exhibition in 2021 and later for her involvement in the Panorama International Arts and Sculpture Festival in 2022.
Her works are displayed in various prestigious locations, including the Municipality of Sparta, the Municipality of Kallithea, and the Municipality of Malevizi in Crete. Additionally, her artistic contributions can be seen at the 110th Fighter Wing in Larissa and the Air Command of Elefsina, solidifying her place in both public and military art collections.
