Manoj Parasakthi began his literary journey with Eeshwaran Satyam, published 18 years ago under the auspices of Bhagavatahamsam Malliyoor Sankaran Namboothiri. His poetry collections, Theerthadanam and Bhranth Pookkathoridam, were introduced by notable literary figures like Prof. Ambalapuzha Ramavarma Avatarika and Pavithran Theekuni Avatarika, showcasing his poetic prowess.
His short story collection Amaraprabhu earned recognition with accolades such as the Indian Book of Records and the Universal Record Book’s Global Award, along with the Kala Kaumudi Vayalar Award and the History & Epic Foundation’s Katha Puraskar for his contributions to literature.
Exploring Music and Film
Manoj has also left his mark in music and film. He collaborated with Padma Shri K.G. Jayan on eight music albums, including Vande Mukundam, featuring playback singers Madhubala Krishnan and Manjary. His song Edavapathi Mazha, sung by Rimitomi, was featured in the Malayalam film Mataram.
In December 2024, Manoj showcased his talents as a filmmaker, writing, scripting, and directing the short film Prakasham Parathunna Malakhamar.
