Richard’s foray into the world of art began in the studio of Mel Tanner of Lumonics, where he immersed himself in the mesmerizing world of Performance Light art. Under the tutelage of luminary artists like Tanner and Kenvin Lyman of Dazzleland Studios, Richard honed his craft, exploring the interplay of light, sound, and movement to create immersive sensory experiences.

As a Performing LASER ARTIST, Richard embarked on tours across North and South America, captivating audiences with his innovative and thought-provoking performances. Through his art, he sought to transcend boundaries and challenge perceptions, inviting viewers to embark on a journey of introspection and discovery.

Yet, Richard’s creative endeavors did not end with visual art. A prolific writer, producer, and director, he channeled his passion for storytelling into a diverse array of projects. His political essays and ANTI-WAR essays, imbued with insight and conviction, found resonance in the hearts and minds of readers worldwide.

In the realm of literature, Richard has left an indelible mark with his thought-provoking short story collections. “Two Small Windows, in a Pair of Mirror Doors” delves into the realms of aliens and ashrams, while “Between the Silences” offers a compelling blend of fiction and non-fiction that challenges conventions and explores the human experience.

Undeterred by the constraints of genre, Richard’s latest endeavor takes the form of poetry. His upcoming collection, “STONE POETRY,” slated for publication by h Read and Green Books, promises to be a testament to the power of language and the beauty of the written word.

In 2021, Richard embarked on a new venture with the launch of “POETS of the East,” an International Literary webcast that celebrates the voices of poets from Asia, Europe, and the Americas.
