Born to a Czechoslovakian father and an Austrian mother, Ana spent her early years immersed in the cotton harvest alongside the Pilagás indigenous peoples in Clorinda, Formosa, Argentina. This unique upbringing laid the foundation for a life rich in cultural experiences and a deep connection to the diverse tapestry of humanity.

With a fervent dedication to the written word, Ana, with the assistance of her grandson, has ventured into the realms of writing, reciting, and broadcasting poetry. Her vibrant presence extends to the digital realm through “Grandma Ana’s Blog” and her captivating recitations on YouTube and radio. Her efforts transcend age, proving that creativity knows no boundaries and can flourish at any stage of life.

Ana’s poetic prowess has not gone unnoticed on the international stage. She has actively participated in renowned poetry competitions, leaving her indelible mark on the literary landscape. National and international radio programs have echoed with her verses, and interviews have delved into the depths of her poetic journey. Her work has found a home in anthologies from esteemed institutions such as the Latin American Cultural Institute, Multinacionales, Editorial Hispana, and APU.

Recognized for her outstanding contributions, Ana received the prestigious VICTORIA award from Uruguay in acknowledgment of her impactful work as a broadcaster. Her role as the president of the jury in the international poetry competition GALAXIA, organized by the Writers International Foundation, showcases not only her poetic talent but also her commitment to fostering literary excellence.
