Born on March 4th, 1967, Dr. Cîmpian Felicia Elena is a visual artist with a boundless creative spirit. Her artistic prowess extends to various forms, including painting, graphics, and textile arts. In 1997, she became a proud member of U.A.P. Cluj-Napoca branch, solidifying her presence in the art world.

Academic Excellence

Dr. Cîmpian Felicia Elena’s academic journey is nothing short of impressive. She completed her Bachelor’s studies at the Academy of Visual Arts Ioan Andreescu, Cluj-Napoca, specializing in Art Pedagogy in 1996. Her thirst for knowledge led her to earn a Ph.D. in Plastic Arts from the Institute of Ethnography and Folklore I. C. Brăiloiu, Bucharest, in 2002.

She continued to refine her skills with a Master’s degree in the Training of D.P.P.D. Teachers from the University of Oradea in 2009. Her dedication to education and art is evident through her extensive training in various disciplines, including graphic design, interior decoration, clothing design, and photography.

Dedication to Teaching

Dr. Cîmpian Felicia Elena’s commitment to education is a cornerstone of her career. Since 1996, she has been a valuable part of the teaching staff at the University of Oradea, where she later became a university lecturer in 2008. Her teaching portfolio encompasses an impressive 18 subjects, including the coordination of bachelor’s and master’s theses.

She actively contributes to the academic community as a member of second-degree commissions and teacher promotion boards. Additionally, she organizes camps, student graphic exhibitions in Romania and abroad, and has played a crucial role in the accreditation of the Graphics and Fine Arts Laboratory.

A Prolific Artist

As an artist, Dr. Cîmpian Felicia Elena has left an indelible mark on the global art scene. Her works have graced over 339 exhibitions, including 156 international exhibitions, 25 national exhibitions, 39 county exhibitions, and 96 group exhibitions, among which 23 were personal exhibitions on both national and international platforms.

Her artistic journey spans painting, graphics, and textiles, earning her 154 diplomas and 35 prizes. Her creations have been featured in more than 150 catalogs and have been exhibited not only in Romania but also in 12 countries, including Hungary, Italy, France, and beyond.

A Scholarly Pursuit

Dr. Cîmpian Felicia Elena’s contributions extend beyond the canvas and the classroom. She is an avid researcher, and her involvement in the Grand A group of C.N.C.S.I.S. showcases her dedication to academic exploration. She has published three books with Risoprint Cluj-Napoca publishing house, two artistic projects in catalogs, and a Confessions Album titled “Har si Destin,” featuring her works in painting, graphics, and textiles, published by Ed. Mega, Cluj-Napoca.

Her research endeavors also include the publication of 11 specialized articles in both national and international publications. She actively participates in conferences, national and international symposiums, and creative camps, collaborating with artists from Romania and around the world.
