Writers International Edition

AM I SO DIFFICULT TO LOVE?

I need a closure.
A guaranteed one,
An abyss of no return.

Can you make it a little poetic,
but more evident?

A couplet can never
satiate my heart
though I love it.

Can you make it more
transparent but less dramatic ?

A phrase is better,
than a lifeless passage.

I must loosen up
the thoughts,
unleash my soul that
entwines your verses.

Can you be more like
a scrupulous saint
than a poet?

A eulogy is enough;
more perfect to –
narrate our platonic love.
